Christopher Sellers

I was born in Cleveland, Ohio; I moved to Savannah, GA, in 1987. I have had a passion for music since I was 4 or 5 years old. I moved to Atlanta, GA, in 1988 and formed a group with my childhood friends called Another Bad Creation. In 1990, we released our first single called Iesha on Motown Records; six months later, we released our debut album, Coolin At The Playground Ya Know! it went on to sell millions, and our lives changed instantly… We traveled worldwide and worked with some of the greatest entertainers, including Michael Jackson. Unfortunately, our career didn’t last for long. After all the success, there wasn’t any money being made. By the time I turned 18, there was a small trust fund set up for me, and I used that money to help my family and to buy myself a new car. There wasn’t much money left after that, so my mom gave me the option to either get a job or return to school. I chose to get a job at 19 years old. My first job was a warehouse job, where I developed skills such as a forklift operator. After a couple of years of having numerous jobs, I landed a job at Marta Atlanta Public Transport Company, where I developed many skills, including pressure washing. Ten years later, I left Marta and challenged myself to try something new; I had obtained a CDL and would work as a Professional Commercial Truck Driver. In 2020, I bought myself a semi-truck, and now I had become an owner-operator, not knowing the business all that well; long after, my company went under, and I was forced to file bankruptcy. In 2022, I took a job as a CSR at Penske, where I met my partner Scott Pitcher. We initially talked about getting back into the transportation industry, but God had other plans. My passion and skills for pressure washing were something I always wanted to do, and Scott had the same passion and skill. So, we decided to form our own pressure washing company, so here we are:

I moved to the USA in 2015 from Bermuda and have had various jobs along the way, from working with a family friend cutting grass to working at a motorcycle Shop. From there, in 2017, I went on the road to drive a truck (18-wheeler) for the next five years. My first Son came on Valentine’s Day 2022, and my trucking career had come to an end; determined to stay close to home, I picked up a job at a mechanic shop, and from there is where I met this cool guy named Chris. It is funny that we both drove trucks during the same time and worked at this shop, where we both have the drive and passion to own and operate our own business. Since I already had some equipment to get started and he had the clients to get rolling. Our first step was a no-brainer. Thus, ABCDetailing & Pressure Washing was born.
